Today, Sunday, 18th May, 2025, At the Annex of the Faculty of Medicine (New pole 6,000 pedagogical seats), a “Framework” Twinning Agreement was signed this evening, between Djilali Bounaama -Khemis Miliana University, represented by the rector, Professor « Berabah Mohamed Cheikh », and the University of Algiers 3, represented by the rector, Professor « Rouaski Khaled.
The signing ceremony was attended by the Vice-rectors, Deans of Faculties, university Executives and Officials, and the administrative staff of the Faculty of Medicine Annex.
This twinning agreement, which will be implemented in all relevant fields, aims to promote exchanges between the two universities, including the exchange of professors and researchers, and research works. It also represents a valuable opportunity for all affiliates of both universities.
The ceremony was attended by the university’s vice-rectors, deans of faculties, the institute’s director, university executives and officials, and included the following:
– Successful doctoral students for the academic year 2024-2025.
– Heads and members of the doctoral training committees (CFD).
– Supervising professors in the third-cycle training.
– And all stakeholders involved in the doctoral training process.
Participants listened to the opening speech by the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research from the University of Boumerdes via videoconference. Several presentations were also presented explaining the mechanisms and training program for the humanities and technical sciences fields.
In his opening speech, the rector of the university Prof. « Berabeh Mohamed Cheikh » congratulated all the successful applicants in the third-cycle training competitions, estimated at 262 doctoral students across all disciplines. He also commended the efforts of all stakeholders in ensuring the success of these competitions throughout their various stages, expressing his hope for the opening of other training offers in the future, particularly in light of the expansion of the network of Higher Education Schools.
This activity aims to inform both school and non-school students about the professional and pedagogical training opportunities available at our university, particularly for students who will have the Baccalaureate exam in June 2025.
A pedagogical team composed of Executives and pedagogical staff from various faculties and the institute supervised the event, which takes place from April 16 to 17, 2025, through the presentation of paper and digital materials. (posters, guides, brochures, etc..) ,and a detailed explanation of the various scientific disciplines were given.
During his visit to our university’s pavilion at this exhibition, the Governor Mr « Aissa Aziz Bouras » and his accompanying delegation received a detailed explanation from the supervising professors about the specializations and pedagogical fields available at the University of Martyr Djilali Bounaama, particularly its recent access to the medical annex, which represents a valuable addition to the other scientific disciplines.
Our university’s members welcomed this initiative, considering these two structures an added value whose services can be utilized, especially since the New Pole (6,000 pedagogical seats) has been undergoing advanced construction since it took place at Djilali Bounaama -Khemis Miliana University.

1. Establishing the Center of Modern Technologies for Information and Communication and Pedagogical Practices and the discussing the necessary requirements to ensure the smooth running of the Center.
2. Operating conditions for the various structures affiliated with the NTIC Center.

4. Training of new teachers in the field of information and communication technology.
5. Monitoring Distance Learning for horizontal and exploratory unit courses.
6. Dissemination of the foundations of the fondamental and methodological unit courses.

This event also witnessed the participation of representatives of the diplomatic corps as guests of honor, mainly: Her Excellency the Ambassador of the Republic of India, His Excellency the Ambassador of the Republic of Venezuela, Her Excellency the Ambassador of Nicaragua, a Counselor at the Embassy of the State of Palestine, and a Counselor at the Embassy of the Republic of Cuba. In addition to this, distinguished guests from the revolutionary family and the Moudjahidine of the Fourth Historical Department, activists and actors in civil and associative work.
The honourable guests of this historic event were welcomed by all components of the university, led by the University Rector, Prof. “Berabah Mohamed Cheikh”, ladies and gentlemen: Vice-Rectors, university Executives and Officials, students and employees, as well as the media family.
The celebration program included a rich bouquet of activities that combined scientific, artistic, and sports exhibitions edited by the our students, in addition to presenting a historical intervention by The Professor “Ben Yaghzer Ahmed”, and displaying documentaries and other miscellaneous items.
The curtain fell on the activities of this meeting in an atmosphere of honorification in the honor of the distinguished participants, mainly the representatives of the diplomatic corps and the revolutionary family.
