       The argentine’s Ministry of foreign affairs has launched a translation support program for 2023, entitled “SUD”  in order to promote the argentine literature abroad through the translation of Argentine’s Authors works particularly into the Arabic language with financial assistance.          The program was launched as a result of the commitment made by the Argentine government to promote the translation of works of Argentine’s authors, in order to facilitate their publication in foreign languages          The literary pieces can be chosen within the different  literary genres and from classic and contemporary Argentine’s  authors whose  themes are representative of the national identity.          Please find attached a note on the program, in addition to the documents required for the applications.           Please note that the deadline for submitting grant application is September ,30,2023.  For more information please see the following links     http://programa-sur.mrecic.gov.ar Notice_Program_SUD

 As part of the second edition of the writing and translation competition called Storyfiction, students from the Department of Foreign Languages at the University of Khemis Miliana attended this Monday 07/24/2023 the ceremony of announcement of the results of the translation competition. 16 candidates  participated in this phase of translation into Arabic, which comes after the first phase dedicated to writing in French and English,  and  here is the result of the  winner candidates: *Anseur Hadjer;*Sendjasni Nacer;*Belmecheri Khadidja;*Bennasser Malak. – The winners of this edition were awarded selection certificates and incentive prizes to encourage them to continue to demonstrate their literary talents. It should be recalled that this literary competition in writing and translation was launched for the first time in 2021 for the benefit of students from the Department of Foreign Languages of the University of Khemis Miliana and was extended in its second edition to students from the entire Faculty of Letters and Languages. – The works retained in writing and in translation will be the subject of graphic illustrations representing them and will be published in a collective work which should not be long in coming to light.
